I am a Global Technologist & Author working in software and systems, both with Silicon Valley Startups and global companies and organizations such as the UN. He's also just completing a book on globalization and off-shoring, and another on enterprise software design. I have spent nearly 20 years in software systems and manufacturing, typically as CIO or CTO, building companies and sophisticated products. I typically draw on an unusually broad and deep background in business and technology to understand complex businesses and create sophisticated technology solutions. I also works with a number of philanthropic organizations, with a focus on women's entrepreneurship, girls' education, and sustainable entrepreneurship in developing countries. I have a number of patents in Internet data exchange and hold an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA also from RPI and the International University of Japan.
